Papakura Theatre Company (Inc) started out as Papakura Drama Club in 1954 and having had two changes of name now has 59 years of history in presenting plays and musicals for the enjoyment of the people of Papakura and surrounding districts.
Our home is at Off Broadway Theatre in Elliot Street, Papakura where most of our shows are produced, with occasional shows across at The Hawkins Theatre, and have a membership base across a wide age range.
As a member of Musical Theatre New Zealand, we aim to achieve as high a level of performance as we possibly can, presenting a wide variety of shows to suit all and are very proud to have won Awards for a number of our productions.
