Papakura Business Association Incorporated – Shop & Win 2025 Terms and Conditions
- Acceptance of Terms:
By participating in this Competition, you confirm that you accept and agree to these Terms & Conditions. - Promoter:
The Promoter is the Papakura Business Association Incorporated (hereafter “PBA”), located at 56A Broadway, Papakura, Auckland. - Competition Name:
The Competition is called “Shop & Win 2025”. - Promotional Period:
The Promotional Period is 9am Friday the 14th of November 2025 to 5pm Thursday the 11th of December 2025. - Draws:
The draw will be held on Friday the 12th of December 2025 and the winners will be notified on Friday the 12th of December 2025. - Winner Notification:
Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email. If the winner(s) cannot be reached within three working days, the Promoter may redraw a new prize winner without liability to any person. - Prizes and Entry Information:
Information on prizes and how to enter are included in these Terms and Conditions. - Eligibility:
- Any customer who makes a purchase of $20 or over at a qualifying PBA member business during the promotional period (14/11/25 – 11/12/25) is eligible to receive one entry. A list of qualifying businesses is available on the Papakura Business Association website.
- Entrants must be natural persons (no companies or clubs).
- Qualifying Purchases:
Qualifying purchases exclude Supermarkets, Lotto, Gaming, Tobacco, Vaping supplies, and Alcohol. - Entry Submission:
Physical receipts can be dropped into the designated Shop & Win entry box in the Sir Edmund Hillary Library foyer situated at 209 Great South Road, Papakura. - Contact Details:
Valid contact details written on the back of the receipt, including full name, email address, and phone number, must be provided at the time of entry. - Multiple Entries:
Entrants can enter multiple times. Each entry must be based on a separate $20 spend and lodged separately with its own proof of purchase. Duplicate entries with identical receipt numbers will be deleted. - Residency:
The Promotion is open to New Zealand residents only. - Minors:
If the winner is under 18, they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to redeem the prize(s). - Marketing & Publicity:
- By entering, you agree to share your entry information with the PBA for marketing purposes, including adding you to their database.
- Prize winners agree to allow the Promoter to photograph and film them and use their full name for marketing and publicity without compensation.
- Confidentiality:
The Promoter will keep all personal details obtained via the Promotion confidential and will not directly sell personal information to third-party marketing agencies. - Promoter’s Discretion:
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or misdirected entries.
- The Promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
- The Promoter reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Prize Conditions:
The prize(s) are not redeemable for cash. - Release and Indemnity:
Except for liabilities not excluded by law, entrants release and indemnify the Promoter from all actions, claims, and liabilities for any loss, damage, injury, or death suffered as a result of participation in the Promotion. - Ineligible Participants:
The competition is closed to owners, managers, employees, and contractors of the PBA and participating retailers, and their immediate family members. Entries from these groups will be invalid. - Authority to Enter:
Entrants into the competition confirm that the entrant has the necessary authority to enter. - Prizes:
The prize pool includes two $500 shopping sprees at businesses in Papakura. Each winner will be accompanied by the PBA Operations Manager, who will facilitate payments to the businesses during the spree. Please note that the final prize details are subject to change and will be announced through the PBA’s official communication channels.
